GUSPRC is a friendly Gold Coast rowing club located near Chevron Island in Surfers Paradise. Our club provides rowing opportunities to suit all levels of experience and aspiration. Whether you are keen to learn to row and give it a go for the very first time, refresh your rowing skills, row purely for recreation and fitness, or train to compete in regattas or at an elite level, GUSPRC has fully coached sessions for every level and age from 12 years.

Our club aims to provide access to exceptional rowing programmes, facilities, and equipment in a community focused and inclusive environment for the enjoyment, achievement and excellence in the sport of rowing.

Come and give rowing a go, join a crew, and enjoy rowing on the beautiful Surfers Paradise waterways. GUSPRC offers specific rowing opportunities for school-aged from 16 years, Uni aged rowing, senior rowing, masters age, and from beginners to high performance elite rowers.

ROWING FOR EVERY LEVEL

GUSPRC offers a weekly schedule of coached sessions for every level of rower from novice through to high performance elite level rowers. Whether you want to participate in social rowing, train to row competitively in regattas, row individually or as a part of a crew, we provide qualified coaches, the equipment, and sessions suited to all levels and ages from 16 years old. Our Learn To Row courses are held on set weekends throughout the year for those looking to try rowing for the first time, or refresh your skills. Our club also offers coached sessions specifically for school aged and university students, across all levels.
