TYPES OF ROWING
GUSPRC offers both social and competitive rowing across novice, intermediate, and high performance levels, to males and females of all ages from 12 years through to masters.

Depending on the level of skill and experience, rowers are allocated a level group - Learn To Row, Green, Yellow, or Red - and we also offer specialised school age groups and uni rowing groups across all levels.

Sessions are allocated according to level during the weekday mornings and on Sunday mornings. All of our sessions are coached by qualified coaches.

All coaching, equipment, insurance, and the use of the facilities are included in GUSPRC's club membership.

Whether you would like to row individually or as a part of a crew, participate in social rowing for fun and fitness, or train to compete in regattas, GUSPRC looks forward to welcoming you into our community.

Our Learn To Row six session courses are conducted on weekends at various times throughout the year, and are an ideal way to try rowing for the first time.

For more information about the types of rowing available, please refer below for details and get in touch if you would like more information or to find out about joining the club and registering for the level group that is right for you.
